Clarke was innate inside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Clarke created the super distinctive healthy, swimming Alembic basses and using Larry Graham's innovative slap style of bass playing to harmonically complex jazz based music. Along by having Jaco Pastorius, Clarke has been considered as a virtually all innovative & influtential bass streaming video player in the Seventies.

He formed Animal Logic with rock drummer Stewart Copeland, after a break-higher of The Police, and singer-songwriter Deborah Holland. A trio got profits by having their 1st album & globe tour however a watch-higher sold ill, & a band did non prove my point.
